At the end of 2017 Josh moved back to Chicago from New York. In 2018 Jennifer moved back to Chicago from New York. On March 30th of 2019 on a cold Spring evening, Jennifer and Josh planned to meet for drinks at Enolo Wine Bar after matching a week before on Bumble. Upon entering the wine bar, Josh heard a huge ‘bang’ and immediately all eyes in the very small wine bar went to the girl who walked right into the door. There was Jennifer. She told Josh about her graduate school plans, current Cabaret show she was creating for herself, and future ideas. Josh pulled out his phone mid conversation and asked when her performance was. He wanted to make sure he had it in his calendar so he could show up. He showed up 3 months later, and he has never stopped showing up since. 5.5 years, one global pandemic, vacationing with each other’s families, 2 moves, a new home, and a beautiful proposal later they are finally ready to walk down the aisle.
